Working with this young winemaker is very rewarding. I was asked to create a brand for him with a hand crafted feel. After trying a boatload of different logo styles that just didn’t sit right, we went for a more and sketched approach.
Since then I have designed brochures, marketing material, business cards and stationary as well as wine labels. The brief for the wine labels were always to not let them look like conservative wine labels, but rather to let his personality come through. The one I did a pencil sketch of his family home for is one of my favourites.
